Nashville 2021

The Hotel

We stayed at the Club-Hotel Nashville Inn & Suites in Nashville. This hotel was super close to the airport, which was a plus! The downside was this hotel was located a little far from the Broadway strip, the Gultch, and other attractions. If you choose this location, definitely have an uber budget; walking is not an option. This hotel had breakfast available, a nice size pool, and an indoor jacuzzi.

Our Experience

We had a trip packed full of fun activities. We spent a lot of time downtown on the Broadway strip, shopping down by the Gultch and at other popular spots.

My favorite spot on Broadway was Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa! This place was a girly girl's dream-- full of bright colors and patterns! The music was definitely more my style (not country, lol), and there was plenty of room for dancing. If you're Instagram-obsessed like me, there are tons of cute photo ops here! Meg and I also spent a lot of time at Nudies, Jason Aldean's, Honky Tonk Central, and Nashville Underground.

A hidden gem in Nashville was the Selfie Museum! It consists of a ton of fun-themed rooms where you can take fun pictures. Each room has tripods for your phone and ring lights. This location is off the beaten path and a little tricky to find; we called to verify directions, and I recommend you do the same!

We did a ton of shopping. Our favorite store by far was Kittenish. This store was full of affordable fashion, accessories, beauty products, and decor! If you're a shopping junkie like me, definitely stop by The Gulch for some cute shops.

Like any other tourist, we had to tour the Grand Ole Opry! I'm not a huge country music fan, but this was still super cool to see, and the tour was super interactive.

Restaurants

On Tuesday, we stopped at Redlands Grill for dinner. This place had EVERYTHING on the menu: cocktails, wine, shrimp, burgers, pasta—you name it, they have it! I had the crunchy shrimp roll with a cold glass of rosé, and it was delicious.

We went to the Five Daughters' Bakery for some donuts on Wednesday morning breakfast! I went with the triple raspberry donut, and it was super sweet! There was nice outdoor seating to enjoy your sweet treats. They also had super cute merchandise; I snagged a tie-dye tee as a souvenir!

We had lunch at Del Frisco's Grille. We were able to dodge the rain and sit outside (yay). To be quite honest, I don't remember what we ordered, but I do remember that it was good (if that counts, haha).

For dinner, we went to the Pinewood Social, which is definitely a must-stop location! The food was amazing, and who doesn't like bowling?? I had the grilled cheese and a glass of "frosé," aka frozen rosé, which was SO refreshing. This was definitely one of my favorite spots. I highly recommend it if you are visiting!

Thursday, we went to the Hampton Social for lunch. This was definitely a more "touristy" spot, but it was worth it, in my opinion. The food was excellent, and this location had so many photo ops for my Instagram lovers! I had the mac and cheese and added lobster—yum! We had calamari to start, and it was delicious. I highly recommend making a reservation; it was super busy; there was a line of people right at opening time!

For a sweet treat, we stopped at the Legendairy Milkshake Bar. Meghan INSISTED we stopped there, and I'm glad we did! I had a scoop of cotton candy ice cream topped with sour candy.

We had dinner at the FGL House. We both got a burger and fries for something simple yet so good!

Overall, we had the best time celebrating. I can't wait to visit again! Shout out to my bestie, Meghan, for this amazing adventure.
